Sunday’s Scripture

Sunday's ScripturesWhen I originally started this blog, one regular feature that I had hoped would be most encouraging for all of us was Sunday’s Scripture.

You can read about the beginnings here. Please do go back and read it so I don’t have to repost the information, okay? Thank you.

Unfortunately, as I posted earlier, “things” got in my way and this blog site was put on hold for nearly a year. So thankful to be back, and also excited to get these scripture posts up and running again.

So I’m in need of your input!

Please comment here or send me an e-mail (marianna@speakingofthegrandchildren.com) and let me know which passages of Scripture you are praying specifically for your grandchildren.

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”  Colossians 3:17

My three daughters and I pray every day for the grandchildren, especially the oldest three who are in school. We invoke their protection from the Blessed Virgin, the mother of us all, who is able to be right there with them in the classroom in our place. This has been a wonderful school year and we attribute that success to our family prayer group!
Our prayers are simply from the heart, so I will enjoy reading your bible selections every week.

Regular consistent family prayer from the heart. Can’t beat that!! So thankful that this has been a wonderful school year for your grandchildren. May the Lord continue to bless each one of you.
