Today was the last day in Florida for our children and grandchildren. But we took advantage of this last day to hang out at the pool.

For hours.

Once again, the bad news is that I don’t have a waterproof camera. The good news is that from time to time someone picks up my phone to take some shots.

Many family members were poolside watching Ohio State beat Michigan. The rest of us — translation: Grammy and little ones — were in the pool. Fortunately the cheers let us know what was happening.

As much as I love football, I wouldn’t trade the pool time with munchkins.

Grandkids in a pool tops football or any other sports any day in my book! Looks like you were having fun!

Our oldest grandson said that his favorite part of being in Florida was being in the pool. LOVE that. I reminded him of his pirate fighting lessons from Jack Sparrow and he did then say that Jack Sparrow was the favorite event…still love that he FIRST responded the pool. Pool equals Grammy time!!

Yes indeed. Wish we had had more time…but always better to be wanting more than to be wishing it was over, right?!
