Friday fun (May 1)

Friday fun

I am discovering so many wonderful projects to do with the grandchildren. I initially thought I’d post them here one at a time, but I think I would be posting continually!

Rather, I plan to post links to some great ideas…that way you’ll only have one post to read but lots of links to grand fun!! Friday fun, it is.

I love all three of these ideas. Involved grandparents are constantly on the look out for fun things to do with the kids. I have found many great suggestions at Grandma Ideas blog. Nina is always finding something simple and cute to play or print out and enjoy!

Thanks for the suggestion to regularly visit Grandma Ideas blog. I also have found great ideas at Whatever Happens at Grandmas — hope to get the newspaper idea started this summer!!

Most of all I LOVE the picture! Playing with grandchildren is the best way to stay young at heart and it helps keep us physically fit, too! Now that Amara is 11 I usually look for activity ideas on cooking sites! She and I love to bake and cook together. Saturday nights are usually our fun night and tonight will be no exception! They almost always include a movie, sometimes a board game and Sunday morning breakfast is FUN!

Sounds like a most wonderful Saturday night tradition! I really like the idea of using the cooking sites for activity ideas…Amara is learning some valuable skills while having fun. Enjoy your evening. And thanks for commenting!
